What does all this mean for you then? Well, if you want to make some extra cash from an online business, start affiliate marketing right away! Although there is no way that you can monetize the affiliate program in a day or two months, it won’t take much effort for you to build up a large and profitable affiliate channel in less than 12 weeks. Below, we will talk about the steps that you need to follow to start earning with Amazon Associates.
let's begin How to create Amazon Affiliate Account
First things first— I am assuming that you already know the basics of SEO. If not, check out our guide on SEO 101 for more information on how to rank your content using proper keyword and targeted anchor text. If you don’t want to do any coding, grab a copy of CodeBurst’s free eCommerce course (here). It teaches you how to create effective product descriptions, optimize titles, add and maintain keywords, promote your Shopify store through Google Shopping Console, and learn about Adsense. There is also plenty more available on Udemy with affiliate programs like these.
To get started, you need to sign up for the Amazon associate program here:

Next, you need to go over your web design checklist so that you can identify areas where your visitors are clicking on your links to your site. We have a detailed series of tutorials about creating blog posts in WordPress here:

Once that has been done, you should also choose one of three affiliate networks that offer commission at the end of each sale you receive. The main ones that you can choose are the following:
Amazon Associates (also known as AMZN)
Clickbank
Guru
If you have decided to use Clickbank, make sure that you read their terms and conditions carefully before opening a new membership with them. Once you choose a link builder to generate sales for your affiliate program, make sure that you check its ratings before proceeding further. They may be paying a fixed monthly fee per affiliate campaign, depending on the number of affiliates you have. Alternatively, they might come with a referral program, which lets other sites earn money when a user clicks on their affiliate link.
If you are using Guru, make sure to read their terms and conditions as they change regularly. After reading Guru’s guidelines and regulations, you can then decide on which link builders to join in order to build a successful affiliate program. For example, Guru provides both top-quality and low-quality link builders so it may not be worth joining if they aren’t trustworthy. Similarly, you can always use several different builders simultaneously to see what works for you. Some examples of various builders include Mailfunz, ConvertKit, Leadpages, OptinMonster, and Yoast SEO. But none of these builders are created equal and you should think twice before jumping in headfirst! Don’t be afraid to try multiple builders because they might be better than others. And remember, it’s better to start with something simple and work your way up to bigger and better systems.
After building out your affiliate system, you should start generating earnings. Here’s a list of methods you can use to generate more money.
Create a Facebook page / Twitter campaign / Instagram story / Pinterest page : Creating and running a website is difficult. Building one is even more difficult because users have different expectations and have very different requirements of success. To ensure success, it’s usually very helpful to establish a “voice” (or community) within your audience. As you gain more followers on social media, make sure to add your affiliate links with hashtags as well. Use influencers along the way to promote your affiliate links so that people already interested in making purchases click the links and convert. Set up a YouTube channel : Many small businesses use Youtube to gain exposure and reach customers. However, you should be careful when choosing videos from famous brands. Be cautious of bad reviews and avoid promoting anything that might discourage viewers. Give credit to quality creators as well as providing honest reviews of others. Also consider picking videos that use photos, video editing tools, image processing, and animation. With regards to photography, you should try to give your viewers a good look at every aspect of a picture before giving them permission to purchase anything. When uploading videos onto Youtube, you should upload high-quality quality images so that your viewers are interested in purchasing your items. Using TikTok is another great way to boost your affiliate marketing efforts. Start a contest : Every marketer wants a contest to win cash, but some businesses only want to know that others are participating in a contest and therefore want to participate themselves. All you need to do is create a giveaway with the goal of winning cash. Try asking for help from friends and family for example, posting pictures on social media during certain times, or having contests during holidays. While you wait for the contest to begin, you can ask the following questions about the money and why this contest is happening. Depending on the amount of entries, you can divide up the prize into smaller portions. Another option is to start a discussion thread in your facebook group that everyone gets involved in and talks about the event. Posting on Tik Tok is a similar concept. Make sure to keep a few rules in place so that everyone who participates stays safe with no one losing their hard earned cash. Read, listen, and watch your competitors : You should strive to learn everything you can about affiliate marketing and become better at what you do. Learn everything that you can, but what you read, listen to, and watch can also help improve your skills and knowledge. Not being able to complete assignments on time is almost worse than falling behind. Always keep challenging yourself and your skills as soon as you feel you aren’t as strong as other participants. Remember to always stay positive and motivated around others. Stay optimistic that with hard work and dedication, you can succeed.
And now, let’s discuss the steps you must take to successfully start collecting your affiliate commissions.
Creating Your Website
If you have already created your site, you should now create your affiliate site. My next step is to find a reliable hosting platform. There are tons of options when it comes to designing, selling, and managing your site. I recommend GoDaddy, Bluehost, A2 Hosting, SiteGround etc. These platforms provide you with 24/7 support throughout the development process as well as technical services like web hosting, SSL certificates etc. Even though a lot of websites fail due to poor management and lack of technical expertise, there are also millions of successful websites on GoDaddy, so you should take your chances. Just because it doesn’t pay you yet, doesn’t mean it isn’t good value and would be highly recommended.
Next, once you have found a suitable host, create a subdomain on it as well as a database. I advise starting on a single domain name (domain.com or.nl) as you will later scale. Once the website is functional, you can apply for paid listing on Amazon Associates.
Creating an Accessibility Design Kit
Now that you have your website fully set up, it’s time to take care of some housekeeping aspects. First thing to do is clean up your homepage. Do this by looking at popular competitors and copying their layout. Use HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Vanilla JavaScript, HTML and XHTML.

In addition to developing your website, you should also hire someone to design and edit it. One piece of advice that many new bloggers overlook is hiring someone to design your site. Not only would this hire someone to create a professional UI for you, but will also provide you with access to any updates to your site. It’s important that you get a great UX designer that you trust, because a poorly designed website can result in lots of complaints from disgruntled users. Plus, hiring your own designer could be detrimental for your brand because it costs money and could lead to you feeling as though you are working too hard for too little compensation. Instead, hire a freelancer that has experience in developing websites and creating aesthetically pleasing designs. Or find creative ways of doingodle with Adobe Dreamweaver.
Once you’ve completed your design stage, test it out. Now that you have got your website developed, search for affiliate opportunities from your niche on Google Search. Google will suggest any relevant, relevant affiliate programs. Whether you use the suggested program, you will find options like Product Hunt, Clickbank, and others. Before signing up for an affiliate program, make sure to download the agreement form and pay it off as soon as possible. Next, create an accounts page on your email newsletter, as this will allow you to send emails directly to customers and you should use all the features.
After completing your affiliate program, make sure it is integrated with your business website. I recommend adding your affiliate links to the header section of your website. On your main page, you should make your affiliate links appear below your contact list. Then, select your affiliate channel to begin receiving commission payments from companies that buy your
